Kusube Valley
Kusubegawa River has its rise at a famous mountain Mt. Hotokeno-o (1,227m), runs through Yoshitaki Falls, Arataki Falls, Kanamenotaki Falls, and the village of Kusube, and finally empties into the main stream of Yadagawa River. Kusube Valley is a collective term for mountain streams in the Kusube district and the surrounding areas. At the center of the valley, there are a mountain stream fishing spot, walking paths, a fishing hole, a mountain vegetable hunting spot, and a restaurant Takimitei serving red-spotted masu trout dishes, wild vegetable dishes, etc. Seasonal tapestries of nature are like paintings. Especially, a cool flavor around the summer waterfall sometimes makes you forget the reality.
