What is Kami Cho like?
Kami Cho is located in the north area of Hyogo Prefecture. It is an area surrounded by Mother Nature embracing the ocean, mountains, and rivers.
The town is a part of the San’in Kaigan UNESCO Global Geopark.
The area has many valuable geological heritages. Besides, the area produces Tajima Cattle: breeding cattle for Kobe beef. In winter, you can enjoy snow crab dishes here.
Kasumi area
Kasumi area faces the Japan Sea. The view at the Kasumi coast is stunningly beautiful. In summer, the coast welcomes lots of sea-goers. In winter, fishers harvest snow crabs and you can relish crab dishes at hotels in the area.
Muraoka area
Muraoka area is in rich nature, surrounded by grand mountains. The area has two natural hot springs and outdoor facilities at the foot of the highlands. We also recommend gourmet foods such as Tajima beef and ayu (sweetfish). There is a ski area here, so you can enjoy winter sports.
Ojiro area
Ojiro area was chosen as one of “the most beautiful villages in Japan.” Here, you can enjoy Japan’s traditional village views.
