Amarube Roadside Station
Amarube Roadside Station looks like a rustic boathouse matching the local scenery. It was created in the motifs of beautiful houses in Amarube, the countryside’s warmth, and a relaxed sense of time. When looking up from the facility, you will see a train running slowly on the Amarube Viaduct 40m in height. The surrounding area has the Amarubesaki Lighthouse whose light source is at the highest point in Japan, the village of Misaki facing the beautiful Japan Sea and having a legend of fleeing Heike worriers, and the Yoroi fishing port known for its calm scenery. The roadside station sells fresh sea products from the Japan Sea, locally-produced farm products, and Amarube Viaduct goods, and also serves meals using seafoods.
